A NOTE FROM THE DISTILLER

I wanted our rye to be a more complete whiskey that can make an awesome Manhattan or Old Fashioned, but also a whiskey that you can drink straight up. For our flagship Rye Whiskey we use New York grown Danko Rye to showcase the cereal/bready notes that heritage rye grain imparts on whiskey. Along with dried fruit and baking spice notes that round the whiskey out, this spirit is very well rounded and easy to sip and is lovely in a cocktail.

Distiller's Tasting Notes

Nose - cherry liquor with a backbone of spicy rye and singed sawdust

Taste - bright sharp rye note opens up into cooked oats, hazelnut, cocoa, baking spices, and fresh slate, which comes from the barrels being so close to the ocean
