With every batch of whiskey that we barrel, there’s always some left over that doesn’t fit. Not wanting to let it go to waste, we started putting our extra whiskey into one barrel, creating a weird, gruesome, disjointed new creation named Frankenstein. His barrel was leaky, needing to be patched up consistently, and always seemed to attract spiders. We were unsure how this ugly barrel would taste, but one evening, under the light of the full moon, we tasted it, looked each other in the eyes, and proclaimed, IT'S ALIVE!
And now a tradition begins. Every year we will create a new Frankenstein for you all to enjoy during spooky season.
